This gorgeous variegated blue star blanket was crocheted by ME. I started it while we were stranded in California with a broken down bus, and then continued as we made the road trip back to Alabama. Some of it was done while I was at home in AL, and then the rest was finished when we were on the road between Milwaukee and Detroit for show car season.
The yarn used is acrylic, medium weight yarn. Soft to the touch, not itchy or scratchy for those with sensory issues. I don’t have a tape measure with me but from the photos you can see it is roughly the width of a queen size bed from tip to tip. It’s a good size for one person to snuggle on the couch, or as a lap blanket.
There will be 200 tickets available at $5USD each. You can buy as many tickets as you like. The draw is open worldwide and shipping will be at my expense to anywhere in the world. Draw will take place as soon as all 200 tickets are sold. And the blanket will be shipped to the winner when we return after show season (end of March).
For the purposes of transparency I want to be very clear in stating that the funds raised from this blanket raffle will be used to help cover some of the costs of our travel for the ISCA show car season. While we do these shows to raise awareness for the Charity Beetle promotion - which raises money for the MetalMorphosis Charitable Foundation - these funds will help cover our hotels, fuel & food while we are traveling. While these are legitimate business expenses relating to the promotion of the charity - I want to make it clear that this money is not going directly to the charity for the purpose of helping children
